Yes … your ears are not deceiving you! Miocene
are still in existence and are preparing to release their
debut album later this month. After making serious waves on
the UK’s alternative scene in early 2000 with their powerful
live performances Miocene are back!
Blending rock with a chop rhythmic and sometimes electronic back drop makes ‘A Perfect Life with a View of the Swamp’ and interesting listen. Standout tracking include the lengthy and Tool influenced ‘The Fall’ and the gripping ‘(-)’. This is good stuff we wanted it four years ago! |
