miocene vocalist ben told me that the best way to enjoy their new EP was to listen to it while on drugs. i don't do drugs because drugs are bad so i wasn't sure if i was going to fully appreciate this EP. so, listening to it while of a (relatively) sane state of mind how is it going to sound.

well, it sounds, for want of a better word, complex. it's not really metal because, according to the band on track six, metal in 2002 sucks, it's not really rock. what it is that miocene do is blend in drug-soaked effects and auras with distorted guitars to create a soundscape that, as ben said, truly does have to be appreciated whilst on drugs.

seriously miocene are thinking mans metal for 2002 and are far too clever for your average MTV generation.
