nu-metal rumblings from the nation's capital.
if these londoners were from the other side of the atlantic, the chances are they'd be being lined up as contenders for the nu-metal throne.
they already have songs to match the quality of the likes of incubus, deftones et al, and they already kick limp bizkit's rectums with ease. there's a strong tool influence throughout, particularly on the awesome '9mm high & rising'. 'shine' is the album's highlight though. building softly and patiently to a marvellously intense chorus, it serves to point out once again what a great talent we have on our hands here.
'refining the theory' may only weigh in at seven tracks, but it could well be the introduction to a great career.
